When shooting in Connecticut I always seem to find interest in the Willimantic Thread Mill that although has been gone for years it remains a subject of great potential. Although I might be shooting for the Nostalgic Vaue there always seems to be a few keepers every time I shoot the old mill.
On a recent trip to Connecticut I was visiting various local artist on an open artist studio tour and I saw this image whil looking out the window of a Mill converted to an Artist Studios. Something about the combination of the colors and the light made this image appear before my eyes. Thirteen has never been so lucky fo me before the day I captured this image.
