My daughter Rachel working with her new camera. I have to say she is learning her new camera very quickly. I like a lot of the ideas she is coming up with, and I look forward to seeing her progress as she grows with her new camera.
As my work continues to evolve I find that as it changes I also continue revisit earlier ideas with changes.
I often establish an idea as to what it is I am hoping to achieve, and from that I begin to explore ways to create the image that will show my intent and convey my idea.
Although I don’t always create images for the purpose of telling a story my images generally have a story to be told. Some are directed to confront an issue or a situation, while others are intended to present a technique by which I can create my idea for a photo.
As those who have witnessed the changes to my work have stated that the ideas and techniques is what adds great substance to the work itself.
